Flying Officer Arthur Maurice Owers PRING DFM (b. 1 Nov 1921 Ealing, West London –d. 5 Dec 1943 India)
1940, called up from University, joined Royal Air Force, posted to 604 Squadron, Beaufighters. Next to 89 Squadron, Egypt in 1942, as Beaufighter Pilot. Then to Malta and later to India. Shot down three of the enemy over Calcutta awarded DFM.
